Commercial Lead - Water - Derby - c£80k + Package

We have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead to join an outstanding business who have multiple exciting workstreams coming out in the East Midlands area.

The initial project is £40m worth of city centre flood defence which will comprise of multiple smaller schemes along several kilometres of land. This is a hugely exciting project with lots of heavy civil engineered solutions, working within a highly populated area with various sets of challenges.

The role itself will be client facing, managing a team of 4 Quantity Surveyors and will require producing progress updates each month, programme and forecasting updates, knowledge of NEC clauses for damages and liabilities and the ability to negotiate in terms of procurement and change control. This role requires someone who has dealt with challenging schemes in a client facing role and with excellent knowledge of the NEC form of contract.

Primarily a site based role with hybrid working on offer, this offers a salary in the region of £80k plus electric/hybrid company car or allowance and a generous benefits package.
