Key accountabilities
Provide driver holiday and sickness cover in the Hampshire, Oxford, Wiltshire region.
To ensure that Heidelberg Materials products are delivered to customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. To ensure that the professional standards of the company are always upheld. To ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety, Working Time Directive, Road Transport Law and Company procedures are applied as part of the daily routine.
The regional logistics function is responsible for the management of distribution operations to meet customer requirements. The function will improve the overall performance of this key business process and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
To ensure the vehicle and all equipment entrusted to him/her is properly maintained, kept in a clean condition and that all vehicle records are correctly maintained as required by the current legislation and company procedures.
To comply with the relevant company personnel and administration policies and procedures.
To carry out deliveries in the most cost effective, efficient, and courteous manner. To ensure that attendance to the operating unit is timely and consistent with meeting the requirements of the company.
