Principal Risk Engineering Specialist
Key Responsibilities:

Property Risk Engineering: Assess and manage property-related risks, working closely with clients to identify exposures and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risk.
Risk Improvement: Utilize best practices in risk improvement to advise clients on property risk management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to provide comprehensive risk assessments and deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
Client Interaction: Communicate complex risk concepts to clients in an easy-to-understand, consultative manner, ensuring they understand risk exposures and recommended actions.
Loss Control: Provide insights and advice on loss control, helping clients implement systems and practices that minimize risks.
Qualifications and Experience:

For Property Risk Engineer / Senior Property Risk Account Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering, or
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in a team environment.

For Principal Risk Engineering Specialist:

Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering, or
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering, or
Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associate's Degree, and 8+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of exposures, controls, and best practice risk improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field.
Experience with HPR Property.
Account Executive and Loss Control / Risk Engineering experience in the insurance industry.
Certification as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
Strong communication and consultative skills.
Outstanding collaborative skills with a proven track record in a team environment.
Proficiency with PCs, software, and systems related to risk management and property engineering
