We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting business decision-making, improving financial performance, and providing insightful reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis of variances and key business trends
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports for senior management
• Support financial planning, analysis, and business performance review meetings
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Business partnering with various departments to drive cost efficiency and financial performance
• Manage and support the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
• Provide support with ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as required

What we’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a management accounting role
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
