As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Estimating Manager to lead our dedicated estimating team and support our continued success.

The Role

As Estimating Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the estimating process, ensuring the timely and accurate production of quotations and tender submissions. You'll be responsible for leading a team of estimators, coordinating workload, improving processes, and managing relationships with both internal departments and external contractors.

This role requires a strong background in the construction industry, with proven experience in technical product estimating, tendering, and surveying.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimating Manager will lead and manage a team of estimators, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing of projects.

Oversee the preparation and submission of quotations and tender documents for specialist products.

As the Estimating Manager you will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure alignment on client requirements.

Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to obtain accurate costs and technical input.

Review specifications and drawings to prepare detailed cost plans and identify potential risks.

Drive continuous improvement in estimating processes and tools.

Provide technical support and advice to internal teams and clients.

About You

✅ Proven experience in estimating and/or surveying within the construction or building products sector.
✅ Technical knowledge within the building product sector in a construction system possibly in fenestration, or related specialist products.
✅ Strong leadership and people management skills.
✅ Excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
✅ Confident in reading technical drawings and tender specifications.
✅ Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with external contractors.
