Our client, a reputable local charity is looking for a Floating Support Worker and be a part of their mission to end homelessness in Swindon. As a member of our dedicated supported housing team, you will play a crucial role in providing person-centred support to individuals with a background of homelessness and low to medium needs.We are seeking compassionate individuals who are ready to make a positive impact by supporting service users facing challenges such as entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health issues, and a range of offending backgrounds. Your role will involve promoting engagement, fostering positive relationships, and empowering individuals to move towards independence.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their 50-year legacy of providing accommodation, support, and advocacy to those in need. • Support work experience
• Experience in homeless pathway support
• Property compliance / tenancy support knowledge
• Proficiency in risk and needs assessing
• Ability to provide move on support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Health and Social Care or related field
• Previous training in Mental Health First Aid
• Valid driver's license
