Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias)
Location Peterborough.

Salary 44k day shifts 6am 2pm then 2pm to 10pm

or another position

Salary £44,000 + 6k bonus for night shift (50k salary)

10pm to 6am Nights x 4 shifts

plus pension and annual leave

About the Job:
We are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer preferably with an Electrical bias to join our well-established team in Peterborough, moving to a new site in Market Deeping Lincolnshire in 2025.

Also Mechanically you will be able to work on drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics. There is a requirement to be able to strip machine assemblies to component level and rebuild. You will also need to have demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering and show the ability to work off your own initiative.

Education to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred, but not essential as we would consider “time served” as experience.

You will be multi-skilled with an electrical bias and have strong communication skills and excellent organisational skills.

Schedule:

* 8 hour shift

* Monday night to Friday

* Overtime on offer aswell

Experience:

* Electrical Engineering: 2 years (required)

* Mechanical Engineering: 2 years (required)
