* MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Spennymoor area.

The Job You'll Do;

* Daily use of jigs / templates along with basic fabrication knowledge

* Knowledge and experience with basic engineering drawings

* Able to interpret drawings to products

* Significant experience as a fabricator

* Working with a range of materials including mild and stainless steel

* Using various tools to cut steel to meet specifications

* Prepping metalwork for welds

* Dressing and grinding of welds

* Daily PPMs (Machine check sheets)

* Daily 5s activities and good housekeeping

About you.

* NVQ level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification required.

* Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard.

* Working either independently or within a team.

* Achieve team objectives.

* Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.

* Physically fit as some products are heavy
