TeacherActive are working closely with SEND (Special and educational needs) schools within Derby who are looking for a enthusiastic and passionate SEND teaching assistant to join them in January for a full time role ongoing until at least July 2025.

The school is looking for people who have experience working closely with children with Special educational needs in a school setting.

The ideal candidate will be people who's passion it is to support these students and will strive to do a brilliant job every time they come to work, this role includes working with students with very high needs so having a teaching assistant who is confident in working in this setting is vital.

The successful Teaching assistant will be someone who is always wanting to grow and will ensure they are building strong relationships with the pupils, staff and parents.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:
