This role would be well-suited to someone with a non-traditional Big 4 background. Rather than coordinating large-scale mobility programs, our focus is on providing tailored advisory support and deep technical expertise. We work closely with clients to address complex global mobility tax challenges, offering practical solutions that align with their business needs.

Global Mobility Tax - Assistant Manager - London
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of global mobility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supported by a junior engagement team, you will manage the day-to-day global delivery of client engagements.
- Manage global tax compliance projects and work closely with our network to deliver on all aspects of assignee compliance.
- Assist in project managing the delivery of varied, global client advisory projects - covering tax, social security, process and policy. Where required, collaborating with subject matter experts across our network on cross-border and multidisciplinary projects.
- Provide global tax technical analysis and advice to clients across our various global mobility divisions.
- Engage with clients on current global mobility and UK tax developments.
- Support Engagement Leaders with VIP assignee services, including carrying out arrival/departure briefings for senior assignees.
- Manage engagement finances with junior team support.
- Co-manage and coach junior staff.

Required skills
- Organisational skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.

- Supporting junior development: Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

- Strong relationships: Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Enabling senior team members: Proactively support senior team members by taking ownership of tasks and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Desired Skills:
- Ideally holding a CTA qualification or actively working towards this.
- Experience or exposure to US global mobility tax practices.
- Competence in reviewing complex tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- A background outside of a traditional Big 4 firm is welcome, as we focus on tailored advisory support rather than coordinating large-scale mobility programs.
