Facilities Assistant/Logistics - Farrington - Ongoing Temporary (Immediate Start)

Location: Farrington

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Hourly Pay Rate: £14.70p/h Via Umbrella

A World Leading Service Provider who operate on an International scale is seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant/Logistics based in the Farrington area on ongoing temp contract working in large corporate office site. The role will require a high amount of walking, as well as frequent lifting and placing of waste materials, boxes and other items, which will require a good level of physical capacity. The role requires all team members to be ready to carry out work as per instruction given by the or Logistics Supervisor as and when they need to stand in for the Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Management of all inbound deliveries/collections via Zone Manager.

* Direction of vehicles arriving in the loading bay.

* Delivery of client mail & parcels at pre-determined times.

* Delivery of research papers/magazines/newspapers to the client's desks as required.

* Closing off of chain of custody deliveries utilising in house software.

* Collection of outbound mail from internal mail points and delivery to the GS courier desk

* Removal of all waste materials from goods lift lobbies throughout the site.

* Loading of waste into weekly wait & load skip.

* Collection of archive boxes form client's desks.

* Portering/Manual Handling

* Collection of outbound shipments.

* Placing of waste bins in goods lift lobbies on all floors.

* Placing all waste materials into the on-site compactors.

* Washing out of all general & food waste bins - weekly

* Washing of flooring under compactor units during exchange.

* Ad hoc collections & deliveries when necessary.

* Support for equipment/furnishing moves within PTC and also, inbound/outbound moves.

* Replenishment of all stationery items daily.

* Printer paper re-stocking daily.

* Delivery of cleaner's consumables to central storage location.

* Receipt and storage of inbound stationery & paper deliveries.

* Placing of stationery order to DMG.

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
