Credit Control Assistant
Location: Winfield Hospital, Gloucester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Summary:
Winfield Hospital is one of Gloucestershire's leading private hospitals, located on the outskirts of the City of Gloucester. It is situated off the Northern Ring Road with excellent road and rail links. The hospital opened in 1992 and currently has 39 beds including thirty four single rooms all with en-suite facilities.
The role:
We have a great new opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Assistant to join our team at Winfield Hospital, based in Gloucester.
As the Credit Control Assistant, you will be reporting to the Business Administration Manager. The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate allocation and collection of all hospital debts. This involves liaising with Heads of Departments, medical insurance companies, patients, and credit control agencies.
Skills & Attributes:
- Previous Administration experience ideally in a Healthcare or data driven setting
- Experience of dealing with payments and invoices
- Ability to speak to all levels of management, external vendors, colleagues and patients professionally at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills - to be provided at all times
- Ability to deal with patients/ customers in a sensitive and professional manner
- Good attention to detail
- Professional and confident communication skills - in person and by phone
- Good computer skills - working on variety of systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to multi-task
- Accuracy and reliability
- Numerical skills
