Assurance Officer | Lloyd's Broker | London/Hybrid | £55 - 65,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnering with a growing Lloyd's broker in their search for an Assurance Officer to join their team. Working in their 2nd line function, you will be concentrating on risk assessments, deep dives, thematic reviews, risk & controls, controls testing, providing assurance to senior management that the correct controls are in place and more.

You will be part of a team of 3, reporting into the Head of Assurance. They are a collaborative team, where you will have the opportunity to share best practice and improve processes.

Experience required:

• Minimum 2 years' experience of performing end-to-end deep-dive reviews and control testing.
• Background in either 2nd line assurance or internal audit.
• Must be from an insurance company background.
• Experience of controls testing and ability to analyse data.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create insightful reports.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels including senior management and external parties.

Please note that you will be required to work in their London office twice a week.
