Interim Financial Controller £350 per day Location: Manchester 6 monthsA high growth, PE backed SME are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join their team for approximately 6 months whilst waiting for a permanent hire to serve their notice, and are looking for an experienced professional to join in the meantime, working in conjunction with the Finance Director on financial control and reporting. Key Responsibilities:* Responsible for the monthly management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, monitoring variances to budget, prior year and forecast * Oversee statutory accounts preparation and management of all audit processes, including acting as a key point of contact for the business during audits * Balance sheet control, including insights and improvement recommendations for the Finance Director * Preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts, including cash flows* Supervise and oversee a small finance team of 4 * Review of working capital * Working with key stakeholders across the business to achieve business goals and improve profitability * Overseeing financial operations The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes & experience:* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent by experience* Excellent systems knowledge, including experience working on SAP and excel to a high level of proficiency* Analytical and commercial mindset to drive decision-making* Leadership and management skills, the ability to inspire and lead a team to success * Confident in stakeholder management * Previous experience working within a PE backed organisation would be highly advantageous In return, you will receive a competitive day rate of £350 per day, hybrid working and a great opportunity to further develop your skillset within a dynamic and forward thinking business, working alongside a brilliant FD.
