OverviewJoin our dynamic team as an Income Accounting Manager and become an integral part of a thriving Income Accounting function, comprising a dedicated team of 21 professionals. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with regional CFOs and Business Partners, contribute to finance automation projects, and assist in the rollout of new systems. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly income-related postings while managing key areas of the team to meet tight reporting deadlines within Gallagher's consolidated Income Accounting function. With a focus on driving change and supporting the development of graduates and part-qualified students, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our department.

How you'll make an impact- To manage part of the income accounting team.
- Ensuring the monthly results are recorded completely, within the tight reporting deadlines within the Gallagher consolidated Income Accounting function.
- Liaise closely with regional CFOs and Business Partners on results and reporting.
- Assist in the finance automation project, includes testing and process design / improvements.
- Assist in the roll out of new Brokerage systems, includes testing and process design / improvements.
- Manage the offshore resource dedicated to income accounting.
- Provide insightful analysis of the P&L and Balance Sheet on a monthly basis for senior management
- Assistance and support in response to external and internal audit requests. Provide complex lead schedules for audit purposes, detailed analysis and well thought out solutions.
- Manage the off-shore processing team to control posting of month end journal transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Build relationships within the wider Income team, and across other regional teams.
- Help drive forward change to ensure that department and team members improve, supporting graduates and part qualified students in their development.
- Ensure SOX requirements are fully met.
- Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly.
- Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.

About You- CA, ACCA, ACA qualification
- Current or prior experience of audit within a large professional services practice is highly desirable
- Strong people management skill
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX would be beneficial
- Project management experience/experience of implementing new processes and/or controls
- Ability to priority manage and adhere to challenging deadlines
- Ability to adapt to change
- Attention to detail
- Flexible attitude to dealing with multiple tasks and environments
