Our client are specialists in intelligent drive technology and tailor-made services, supporting industries like oil and gas, energy, mining, mechanical engineering, ship technology, rail, and commercial vehicles. With a UK base in Croydon, they provide comprehensive aftermarket support, including spare parts supply, repairs, and overhauls - both in their workshop and at customer locations.

The Role:

As a Technical Sales Manager - Rail & Marine, you will play a key role in driving sales growth across the UK and Ireland markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional with a technical sales background in rail to take the lead in expanding their business.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for service packages and spare parts for Rail products.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key industry players

Manage commercial enquiries, prepare quotations and tenders, and negotiate contracts.

Provide technical support to customers and deliver product presentations.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creating a strong sales pipeline.

Monitor market developments and report on industry trends.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 year's experience in sales within the UK rail sector (marine experience beneficial).

A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent (HNC or similar).

Strong industry contacts and key account management experience.

A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work in varied and sometimes challenging environments.
