Customer Service Administrator

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm on a rota basis.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Customer Care professional to join our client's fast-paced company in Tonbridge. Based within easy access of the A21 and public transport as well as walking distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants.

💼 Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service via phone and email
Assist customers with their inquiries, resolve queries, and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient resolution of customer requests
Stay up to date with industry-specific knowledge and company products/services
Liaising with other departments and communicating with them effectively
Managing the customer payment process
Contribute to process improvements and suggest innovative ideas to enhance customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally via email/telephone, this could be within retail, customer services, call centre, hospitality or similar
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in using customer databases or internal systems and Microsoft Office - full training is given
Proactive nature and willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy customer's needs
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
