My client, one of Ireland's leading Civil Engineering contractors are now searching for a Company Health & Safety Manager to work across large scale civils projects in the Cork Region.
Role:
- Ensuring effective implementation of company H&S policies and procedures in the company offices & on projects
- Carrying out regular health and safety inspections
- Providing support and advice to staff, site supervisors and site operatives
- Inspecting documents and records relating to safety
- Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Communicating safety issues with the project team and other stakeholders
- Conducting onsite training, briefings and toolbox talks
- Liaising with client teams for all safety matters
- Managing our internal management system
- Preparing the company for various accreditation audits
Requirements:
- Must hold a third level health & safety qualification
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in H&S supervision in the construction industry
- Preferably will have 3+ years in the civil engineering sector
- Must have H&S experience in Ireland or UK (Mandatory)
- Experience on construction projects (Mandatory)
- Must have good oral and written communication capabilities
- Must have a full driving licence
Salary:
- Salary €90k - €100k DOE
