Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, calibrate machines, and test systems
Continuously improve equipment and be health and safety conscious
Work against timeframes to complete repairs
Communicate repair progress to on-site management and resolve their concerns
Own and resolve issues with current installed products
Carry out risk assessments and maintain a safe work environmentEssential:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or related field
Previous experience as Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with a strong technical knowledge in relevant fields
Familiarity with relevant safety procedures and regulations
Able to understand the importance and principles of an advanced Quality Management System
Experience in maintaining and repairing Machinery and Production equipment
Experience with industrial networks and control systems
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work under pressure
Experience of safely carrying out planned maintenance across a site ensuring maintenance procedures are followed
Be an integral part of the engineering team, responding to breakdowns establishing root cause analysis to limit breakdown reoccurring, improving machine reliability and performance
Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements
Hands on ownership of issues
Experience of working well in a team within a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to work at heightDesirable:

Preferably Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical with a strong technical knowledge in relevant fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Ex forces Electrical / Engineer with
BTEC/HNC/HND/C&G or Degree in Engineering or related field
Previous knowledge and understanding of the importance and relevance of a Quality Management System
Experience of updating records of tasks/spare parts used from store and work completed, using the CMMS systemIf you have the required skills and experience, please feel free to submit your CV.
