The Accountants Recruiter is actively seeking a part-time Senior Accountant / Practice Manager for an excellent accounting firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within a UK accounting firm that is looking for a remote part-time role.

Main duties will include:

• Experience of tax planning for business owners
• Comfortable client facing
• Delivery of client meetings
• Accounts production
• Corporation tax returns
• Self-assessment tax returns
• VAT returns
• Payroll
• CIS returns
• Bookkeeping
• Will largely be reviewing of above but would need to be able to prepare where work capacity demands

Requirements

• Ability to produce management accounts, cash flow forecasts would be a bonus - willingness to learn to deliver higher value meetings
• Organised person
• Friendly / likeable
• Happy to work remotely but can work from office if local to Tunbridge Wells
• Very few in-person meetings but may be necessary
• Ideally hold an accounting qualification such as ACCA/ACA/AAT but may consider QBE
• Experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE - please note this is the FTE salary
