Behaviour Support Assistant

What the role as a Behaviour Support Assistant entails:
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for the students
- Assist the class teacher in implementing any personalised educational pans or interventions
- Provide the students with the right tools to manage and cope with their emotions
- Facilitate a safe environment to learn
Your day to day as a Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Working alongside the class teacher to help the students reach their goals
- Help manage any behaviour
- Model correct coping strategies
- Encourage the students to try their best
- Support the students on their academic journey
The Successful Behaviour Support Assistant:
- You will have some experience working with children
- You will be passionate about education and helping children with their academic goals
- You must understand the importance of safeguarding
- You will be positive, enthusiastic and proactive
This is really a great role for individuals who are looking to get some experience working with children who have a hard time with their emotions and school work.
Graduates are welcome to apply as well as those with a background in sports, music, art or drama.
