The Associate Director of Supply Chain is responsible for managing all site-related supply chain activities including, but not limited to, production planning & scheduling, materials management, raw materials sourcing, logistics, project management, and business systems support.

The Role - Associate Director of Site Supply Chain

RESPONSIBILITIES­:-

* Oversees Materials Management to ensure accuracy in inventory and performance against receipt and distribution metrics.

* Leads the Production Planning & Scheduling team to manage site planning and production schedules for internal manufacturing activities, validation activities, and maintenance activities.

* Proactively anticipates and identifies supply chain risks and develops action and resolution plans, aligned with network-wide risk management plans.

* Responsible for site supply planning within global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning

* Partners with the technical and quality teams to create and manage risk mitigation plans or corrective action plans for supplier performance or quality issues and ensures timely and appropriate escalation of supplier issues.

* Recommends plans and strategies for continuous improvement in operations and procedures to meet both short and long-term needs and to resolve problems.

* Assists in managing the materials budget and ensure the department adheres to the approved budget. Assists in developing standard cost for products.

* Participates in business system implementation projects to improve operational performance and owns system support for all site non-quality business systems.

* Responsible for accurate management of materials related information in ERP and spreadsheets, including ERP master data. Prepares reports and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance against metrics and KPIs.

* Oversees, either directly or indirectly, change controls, investigations, and deviations and partners with stakeholders to manage on time release of batches, resolve deviations, and implement CAPA's.

* Participates in supplier governance activities for Quell's, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, manages supplier issues that may effect on-time and cost-effective supply of materials and product, and negotiates and manages supplier agreements.

Technical Requirements

* 10+ years' experience in managing operations, manufacturing, or supply chain within biologics or cell/gene therapy industries.

* Experience working within supply chain functions with proven leadership capability.

* Hands-on information gathering, analysis and management reporting.

* Experience designing and implementing business processes to meet departmental and corporate needs.

* Develop and maintains effective relationships (both internal and external)

* Ability to lead, manage and inspire logistics talent and resources across the entire organization.

* Ability to articulate the vision and roadmap for logistics development, including prioritization of tasks, allocation of resources and discouraging activities that are not aligned with the vision.

* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in order to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization and multiple cultures.

* Knowledge of the logistics environment, encompassing global trade compliance, domestic distribution and international logistics.

* Excellent knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, with a clarity for understanding the importance and interdependencies associated with each stage of the process.
