Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of students who need extra support? We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded all-boys Pupil Referral Unit in the Havant area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment, helping students with SEMH needs to engage with their education and develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.

This is a modern school that is catered to secondary boys in a pupil referral unit. They have a good staff to pupil ratio. The school can be challenging at times, however is also very rewarding.- The role also has a good possibility of going permanent.

Responsibilities:

* Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

* Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring that individual educational goals are met.

* Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interventions.

* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

* Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution among students.

Requirements:

* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.

* Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
