Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The role
* Responsible for raising/processing customers' orders and after amending sending these out to factories.
* Liaising with customers regarding orders, problem solving and making decisions in conjunction with team leader and if required with Director.
* Ensuring that all the information, style, fabrics, trims, prices, shipment date and all other relevant information are correct and as per customer requirements.
* Ensuring customer requirements are achieved through all stages of the critical path from first sample, order, pre-production to final delivery.
* Meeting all pre-production stages of the customer, including fabric performance testing standards
* Ensuring all parcels with samples/submissions to customers and factories have correct and relevant and update to date information.
* Have effective communication at all levels with the teams, internally and external.
* When required attend customer meetings to ensure continued customer satisfaction and that all opportunities are capitalised on.
* Reporting to the Team leader / Director with weekly and monthly updates, on critical path and escalating issues where necessary.
* Ad hoc duties as required by management.
Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The candidate
* Ability to build excellent customer and supplier relations.
* Understanding of garment production industry
* IT literate with sound experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programmes.
* Experience of managing fast-paced critical path.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Excellent time keeping and ability to meet short deadlines.
* Ability to develop and inspire a close-knit team.
* Capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Flexible approach to working to fast moving, changing demands.
* Minimum at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
