Area to be covered: South West and South Wales

Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + 8% bonus

The role of the Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls will involve:

* Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating controls systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators

* Majority of your time will be spent selling to housing associations, housebuilders, social housing organisations, plumbing & heating contractors & installers

* The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to / managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts

* Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc.

* Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue

* Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home - administration

The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with:

* Ideally 2 years+ construction external field sales experience

* Plumbing & heating/ electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful

* May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler

* Would consider someone more junior in their career

* Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors/ installers

* Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts

* Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business

* Must be IT literate

* IEE electrical/electronics HNC / HND or equivalent would be a bonus

* Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
