As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, you will take on an advanced role within the integrated multidisciplinary therapy team at Quorn Hall School. Building on your experience, you will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with complex developmental needs, while actively contributing to the development of the speech and language therapy service and team within a supportive educational and therapeutic environmentThis position offers excellent professional development opportunities, together with professional autonomy. We are seeking people who thrive on working in a challenging but immensely rewarding environment, who are passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills and who truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.This is a term time only position for part time candidates wanting to work 3 days per week.Essential Requirements* A degree in Speech and Language Therapy* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, with at least 1 year in a paediatric or special education setting (desirable)* HCPC and RCSLT membership* Proven ability to independently assess and implement management plans for children with speech and language needs.* Experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural issues (desirable)Your new schoolQuorn Hall is an inclusive and forward thinking school that supports Children and Young People aged 6 -17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
