Due to a growing order book and a variety of exciting new opportunities, we're seeking a talented Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to become a key member of our team.
About the Role:
As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in overseeing projects from inception to completion. You'll be responsible for valuations, contract paperwork, managing the legal side of projects, and collaborating with subcontractors. From industrial and commercial fit-outs to refurbishments and new build projects, you'll be involved in a diverse range of developments—everything from £50k to £10m in value.
Your role will cover both pre- and post-contract work, providing plenty of opportunity to further develop your skills. You'll take on a range of responsibilities, including:
* Responding to initial tender and quotation enquiries
* Working directly with clients to understand their specific requirements
* Conducting site surveys
* Coordinating with sub-contractors and suppliers to achieve the best value and quality
* Managing the tender submission process to deliver competitive, high-quality bids
* Supporting Project Managers with valuations, variations, and Final Accounts
* Contributing to the senior management team and driving continuous improvement across the business
What We're Looking For:
We need a skilled and experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry, the ability to provide relevant references, and a full driving license.
Location:
This role is based at our Solihull office, with some flexibility for travel when required.
