The Role:
We are seeking a conscientious and efficient Finance Assistant to provide vital financial support to the Society. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with bank reconciliations and manage daily receipts and payments
- Support in the administration of Purchase and Sales Ledgers, including invoicing and credit control
- Help with month-end processes, including adjustments, accruals, and payroll reconciliation
- Provide administrative support for pension schemes, Gift Aid claims, and Society Branch returns
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, maintaining professionalism at all times
Key Requirements:
- Educated to A-level standard/degree calibre
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an accounts/finance department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel)
- Strong English skills in both written and verbal communications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
