Fulfilling role supporting a pupil 1:1 with Autism

Supportive staff and school

A mainstream Primary School in Salford  (M6), are looking to add a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to their Foundation team to support a statemented pupil with Autism on a full time basis. The pupil in question requires additional support in the classroom. The role will start ASAP  and is full time.

The School is based in Salford and is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to the town centre and surrounding areas. The Salford school has a relatively high percentage of pupils with SEN, and as such require additional support staff to work with them to support statemented pupils. With that the school has a strong support system in place form the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all support staff are assisted effectively.

If you have experience working with children with additional needs in either an educational or non educational environment then you are encouraged to apply. The role will start in ASAP for the rest of the academic year with the idea to go onto the school's contract for the right candidate. The school are looking to trial candidates as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
