Deputy Nursery Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager for a independent children's day nursery in Burgess Hill.

This is an opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager looking to take the next step in their career, in a role providing ongoing support, development, and progression opportunities, a starting salary of £35,000.00 per annum (negotiable), plus benefits.

Deputy Nursery Manager - Position Details

Your role:

* Working alongside the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the nursery

* Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment

* Supervising and supporting and staff development

* Assisting with training and appraisals

What you will need:

* Minimum level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification

* Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations

* Confidence in leading and supporting a team

* An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational and skills
