A top-notch food manufacturing company based in London, known for their quality, and ability to keep customers happy, are now on the hunt for a sharp, no-nonsense Transport Controller to join their team. If you know your way around the transport world, we want you!

The Role:
As the Transport Controller, you'll be the heartbeat of our despatch operations, handling multiple vans on a daily basis. You'll make sure everything runs like clockwork, from driver briefings to handling all the paperwork. You'll be the go-to person for our drivers, making sure they stick to the schedule and sorting out any hiccups along the way. Oh, and you'll need to keep tabs on who's clocking in and out and run monthly audits to keep us on track.

What You'll Do:

Brief all drivers before they hit the road. Making sure they've got all the invoices and collection notes they need.
Sort out any returns in a timely fashion.
Keep our drivers on schedule and give the Transport Coordinator any feedback they need.
Ensure all routes are covered and handle any absences or late departures.
Keep an eye on the clocking reports to ensure everyone's doing their bit.
Carry out monthly audits to ensure we're compliant and efficient.What We're Looking For:

You've spent at least 2 years in a busy transport operation. If you've worked with multi-temperature food transport, even better.
You know your way around the UK, especially London and the surrounding area.
You're organised, a great communicator, and can handle pressure like a pro.
