Private Client Paralegal

TSR Legal are proud to offer a new role of Private Client Paralegal, where your expertise in will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney will be highly valued. This full-time role, based in Bexleyheath with occasional travel to Dartford and Orpington, offers a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000, commensurate with experience.

Candidates will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes 25 days of holiday plus an additional day off to celebrate your birthday, a pension scheme, an employee assistance programme, and an optional healthcare cashback scheme. Embrace a healthier commute with the cycle to work scheme, and attend regular social events that foster a vibrant office culture. Benefit from free eye tests and staff discounts on legal services, as well as a family and friends referral scheme.

The successful candidate will possess a pleasant and courteous demeanour, an efficient and cooperative attitude, and a diligent and conscientious approach to work. The ability to work independently, coupled with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, is essential. Proficiency in PC literacy and accurate keyboard skills are required.

A minimum of 12 months of experience in a busy Private Client department is necessary, along with a proven track record of managing caseloads and meeting client and business expectations. While a law degree/LPC is desired, it is not a prerequisite for this role.

The primary duties include taking client instructions for straightforward Wills, preparing and submitting draft documents for approval, presenting firm accounts for prompt settlement, and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney. Complex matters outside the scope of "Easywill" must be referred to senior team members.

This office-based role operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
