We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Broiler Farm Manager to oversee the growth and management of a broiler farm housing 200,000+ birds. The ideal candidate must be technically superb, with hands-on expertise in operating environment-controlled broiler sheds, electronic controllers, and implementing the best management practices to achieve the best Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and shortest possible growth cycle. This role is entirely focused on growing and managing birds, ensuring optimal conditions for their health and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Broiler Growth & Performance Management:
  • Oversee the entire broiler cycle from chick placement to harvest.
  • Implement strategies to achieve the best FCR and the least number of days to market weight.
  • Monitor flock health, ensuring minimal mortality and optimal weight gain.
• Technical Farm Operations:
  • Operate and maintain environment-controlled broiler sheds to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
  • Manage electronic controllers for precision farming, ensuring real-time monitoring and adjustments.
  • Interpret bird behavior to make necessary adjustments to feeding, lighting, and ventilation schedules.
• Feed & Nutrition Management:
  • Work closely with nutritionists to ensure optimal feeding programs.
  • Ensure accurate feed distribution and monitor bird feed intake efficiency.
  • Minimize feed wastage and control costs without compromising bird health.
• Equipment & Facility Management:
  • Ensure all broiler houses, feeders, drinkers, and ventilation systems are in excellent working condition.
  • Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance of farm equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues affecting the bird-growing environment.
• Biosecurity & Hygiene Management:
  • Implement and enforce strict biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
  • Ensure high sanitation standards within broiler houses.
  • Train farm workers on hygiene best practices and flock management techniques.

• Knowledge of poultry nutrition, biosecurity, and disease control.
