Join a leading food manufacturer in the Barnsley area, as Lead Site Engineering Manager. We're looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in fast-paced food manufacturing, ready to manage a team of 9 engineers and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the site engineering team to achieve KPIs and business objectives
Manage budgets for maintenance, energy, utilities, and projects
Minimise downtime and drive root cause analysis for recurring issues
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food quality, and operational standards
Drive continuous improvement and environmental/energy efficiency projects
Collaborate across departments to meet business goals
Oversee engineering personnel, including workload, training, and developmentQualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Site Engineering Manager in a food manufacturing environment
Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
Familiarity with CIP systems and compliance standardsWhat We Offer:
