Job Title: Temporary Accommodation Placement Officer

Location: Greenwich

Rate of Pay: £22.50 P/H (Umbrella)

Hours Per Week: 35 hours

Greenwich Council are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accommodation Placement Officer to join their team on a contracted basis. The role will involve providing administrative support to the Temporary Accommodation Officers and Managers.

Main Duties:

• Provide general administrative support, including creating and terminating tenancies and handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Assist with tenancy sign-ups for clients on a daily basis, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Manage and prioritise tasks to meet service requirements, working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams, landlords, and external organisations to ensure quality service delivery.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a high volume of work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with colleagues, landlords, and external organisations.
• Adaptable, quick-thinking, and flexible to meet changing priorities and tight deadlines.
