Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias) - City of London - £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Introduction:
Step into a pivotal role as a Lead Engineer in a modern, high-spec corporate office in the heart of the City of London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading facilities management provider, offering a clear progression pathway and investment in your technical development.

Role Overview:
You'll be the go-to engineer, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a critical office environment. With a strong electrical bias, you'll ensure that the site's systems are running smoothly, while mentoring junior engineers and setting high standards for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.

* Oversee and assist with HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing tasks as required.

* Ensure compliance with site safety standards and client KPIs.

* Take part in a 1-in-6 call-out rota, with a £125 standby allowance.

* Collaborate with the client and site team to address technical challenges effectively.

* Lead small project works and upgrades when necessary.

Qualifications:

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (desirable).

* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or critical office environment.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
