Grounds Maintenance SupervisorSalary: £30,411.84 per annum, plus Veolia benefits and pension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Standard shift: 7am - 3.30pm (30 min unpaid break)
Shifts may vary: 6am - 2.30pm (dependent on operational need

What you'll be doing;- As a supervisor, you'll manage daily grounds maintenance operations, ensure contract compliance, and oversee the workforce. You'll handle HR tasks, contribute to company goals, and deliver high-quality services to local authorities and residents. You'll be the main liaison with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, focusing on improving service satisfaction and maintaining health and safety standards. You may assist in Waste, Street Cleansing, and HWRC as needed. You'll promote a health and wellbeing culture, represent the company at meetings, maintain good relations with stakeholders, and manage employee inductions and training.
What we're looking for;- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with grounds maintenance equipment and machinery
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of environmental legislation
- Experience in disciplinary investigations and absence monitoring
- Computer literacy
- Experience in grounds maintenance contracts (preferred)
- Horticultural qualification or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- PA1 & PA6 Certification (preferred)
- IOSH managing safety certification (preferred)
- Accident investigation experience (advantageous)
