Job summary

Working within the engineering project team, this role will support the day to day coordination and documentation of project activities across the life cycle of numerous projects. This role supports project managers, and the project management delivery team, as an enabler to retaining structure and following process. This role also involves project based administration as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all engineering project activities. The post holder will be required to engage across the PoD organisation, specifically with port operational business units, Contracts and Procurement, and the Asset Management Team.

This is a fixed term contract until approx. mid 2027

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum qualifications of 'A' level or Btech diploma
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar or related role
- Construction Project back ground (desirable)
- Familiarity and experience with the use of FastDraft on a live project (desirable)
- Excellent MS Office knowledge and experience
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of Document and Drawing numbering systems and the relevant British and International Standards inclusive of ISO19650
- Must be an effective communicator, good at managing large data sets, implement change and champion Project and Asset Management as a vital business competency
- Great communicator both written and oral
- Have the ability to multi task and thrives on a challenge

Salary £30k
