• This post is working 0500 - 1700
• The hours of work and shift patterns are 3 on 3 off, 12 hour days
• The rate of pay is £15.20 per hour

As an MachineTechnician here at 2 Sisters Scunthorpe, you will:

• Plan your workload with Production and Engineering to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
• Support Operations to help maintain high standards
• Assist with any audits
• Liase and communicate with colleagues to ensure good working relationships are maintained.
• Set up and configure machinery according to production requirements
• Monitor the machinery during operation to identify and resolve any issues that may affect production
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems to identify the root cause of any issues, and implement an effective solution
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs and adjustments performed using our CMMS (Shire Systems)
• Prepare reports on machine performance, efficiency and any incidents/malfunctions encountered
• Comply with all company policies, regulations and industry standards
• Have a substantial and developing involvement of continuous improvement tools to help reduce any losses

As our ideal Machine Technician, you will:

• Have 5 GCSE's (or equivalent), grade A-C in English, Mathematics and a Science
• Be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels
• Have good computer skills
• Work well as a team
• Be innovative
• Have a good attention to detail
