Commercial Gas Engineer | Shropshire/ Stoke | Mobile Basis | Up to £45,000 + Package

Our Client is a Facilities Maintenance Contractors, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance with commercial and retail clients across the UK.

They are recruiting for a Commercial Heating Engineer to join their existing mobile maintenance team on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out a range of plumbing & heating maintenance work.

Working within the maintenance team provides exciting opportunities to use a wide range of skills each day, in new and challenging environments.

Their clients include Marstons, Mitchells and Butlers, Whitbread, and many others in sectors such as: Hospitality, Care, Leisure & more.

The role will require work experience in the following areas:

* Fault Finding Heating Systems

* Pipefitting

* Maintaining Plant Rooms

* The commercial industry

* Plumbing

* A full manual driving license with no more than 3 points

* Previous experience operating in a similar role.

* The ability to work on their own and use initiative in problem solving

* The ability to interact with clients professionally and with strong communication

Travel, Assets & Further information

This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst we aim to keep each operative as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours. Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.

On call Rota 1 in 4, Monday - Monday. Bonus + overtime rate.

Assets include: A company vehicle, fuel card, Tablet / PDA for completion of all paperwork, ladders, any testing equipment required, PPE and uniform.

Please note: Operatives must provide their own hand and power tools for the role. Consumables and materials are provided as part of the role.

Salary is offered in the form of an hourly rate, only following successful interview, and is based on qualifications, experience and location.
