A Head of Finance role at a global media company is needed, the head of finance will manage a team of two, they ideally want someonne with media experience for this Head of Finance position.

A highly acquisitive global media group are looking for a proactive and collaborative Head of Finance to join the team. This role will have overall responsibility for EMEA accounting and will focus on a division within the large group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-renowned business as they continue to grow both organically and from acquisitions. The role will see you manage a team of two and partner with the wider Group.

This is a pivotal hire for the Group, with the business ensuring development opportunities along the way. Based in London, they work on a hybrid basis and offer an inclusive culture, prioritising promotions within the business.

The role will require someone who has extensive experience, working in an international company and mentoring a team.

Core responsibilities:

• Ownership of EMEA Finance accounting and operations
• Responsible for financial reporting and managing statutory reports in UK/US GAAP
• Manage and develop a team of two
• Ownership of the annual budgeting and monthly forecast process, providing variance analysis
• Manage integration of acquisitions and any new ventures
• Develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Identify potential process and control improvements

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Extensive PQE in accounting roles, ideally in the media space
• Previous experience managing a team
• Previous background in global/multi-national companies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERPs
