Exciting Opportunity: Enrichment Coordinator (Full-Time) – Hackney CampusWe have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Enrichment Coordinator in Hackney. This role is designed for someone passionate about student engagement, personal development, and supporting students’ success in a positive and enriching campus environment.Position Details:
  • Role: Enrichment Coordinator
  • Location: Hackney
  • Hours: Full-time, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Pay Rate: £16.71 per hour
About the Role: You’ll work closely with both students and staff to support student attendance, retention, achievement, and well-being through a range of enrichment activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and Deliver Enrichment Activities: Oversee campus events, such as Culture Day and Black History Month, and supervise students in common areas, maintaining attendance records.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work alongside pastoral and support teams to assess and meet students’ needs.
  • Provide Support and Safeguarding: Guide students to internal and external resources, including safeguarding as needed.
  • Gather Student Feedback: Regularly collect student insights through surveys and focus groups to enhance enrichment offerings.
Administrative Duties:You’ll also be responsible for managing documentation and reporting needs using Microsoft Office, Teams, and OneDrive.Person Specification:
  • Educational Background: Experience or qualifications in education, youth work, or a related field (Level 3 Award in Education and Training or similar is preferred).
  • Safeguarding & First Aid Training: Background in mental health first aid and safeguarding is highly valued.
  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Ability to build positive relationships and handle responsibilities effectively.
  • Youth Support Experience: Previous experience supporting young people is essential.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using student record software.
  • Familiarity with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and Department for Education’s Study Programme requirements.
  • Understanding of the issues affecting young people in education and strategies to help them succeed.
