Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a full-time qualified, intellectual and logical Mathematics Teacher for an 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated Boys' Grammar School which is enriched by a mixed Sixth Form. They are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher to support the provision of the high-performing Mathematics Department for KS3 and KS4 (A-level is desirable.)

The study of mathematics at this exceptional school allows all students to become accomplished mathematicians who are able to reason mathematically and interpret data across a wide range of topics. You will achieve this by maintaining a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about this powerful subject.

Key Responsibilities:

* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils' well-being following statutory provisions

* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils

* Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy

* Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback

* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school's behaviour policy

* Deploy any support staff effectively

* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues

* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils' achievements and well-being

Must have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)

* Excellent subject knowledge

* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)

* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum

* Read the DfE 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' (2024) document

* Excellent classroom management

* Good communication skills
