The ideal Legionella Risk Assessor will be passionate about water hygiene and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety, paired with excellent communication and social skills which are essential for building trust and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Skills and experience needed to be a Legionella Risk Assessor:

2 year+ experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing is beneficial
Additional experience within a healthcare environment is advantageous
Excellent knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274
Must have a full UK driving license
Proficient in domestic Hot and Cold systems
Organised and self motivated to excel

Key responsibilities as a Legionella Risk Assessor:

Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
Produce schematic drawings and documents for clients
Perform surveys of water systems in line with ACOP L8 standards
Execute remedial works when necessary
Conduct temperature testing and water sampling
Provide technical support to clients as necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient delivery of water treatment services
Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessment findings and remedial actionstaken
