Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a 2 bed children's residential home. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high-quality care and ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people. You will manage the day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team, and shape the home's strategic development in alignment with its Statement of Purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the home operates in line with relevant legislation, standards, and policies.
- Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices.
- Manage budgets and ensure the home delivers value while maintaining high standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and external agencies.
- Prepare the home for regulatory inspections, maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce or equivalent; working towards or holding Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children and Young People's Residential Management).
- Experience: Significant experience in a residential childcare setting, including managing staff and resources.
- Strong knowledge of children's home regulations, safeguarding practices, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Emotional resilience and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
