Trade Counter Sales - Builders Merchants

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join their well-established client in Croydon, This is a full-time role, the successful candidate will join on a permanent basis.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 06:30 to 16:00

Alternate (1 on 1 off) Saturdays 06:30 to 11:00

This Role Involves:

account managing customers
contacting lapsed and new clients to win new business and bring back ex customers
responding to emails and taking inbound calls from customers and suppliers
liaising with suppliers
providing quotes
helping customers on the trade counter
providing a brilliant customer service face to face and on the phone
keeping trade counter area stocked and organised
processing orders
To be considered for this role you must have / be:

computer literate
confident dealing with customers over phone, email and face to face
brilliant customer service skills
understanding of profits & margins
fluent English speaking, reading & writing
willing to learn new skills
living in a commutable distance to Croydon
