Role Purpose:

The Senior Loan Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing the loan origination and portfolio management processes, ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our lending activities. This position requires a deep understanding of lending principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to make sound credit decisions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our lending business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.

* Oversee the management and administration of the loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

* Monitor loan performance, review portfolio quality, and develop strategies to minimize credit risk.

* Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments as necessary.

* Provide leadership and guidance to the loan origination and portfolio management teams

* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

* Participate in recruitment and selection processes to build a high-performing team

* Cultivate and maintain relationships with borrowers, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing their financing needs.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as credit analysts, legal, and compliance teams, to facilitate efficient loan processing and closing.

* Engage with external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors, as required.

Role Requirements:

* Proven experience in loan origination, credit analysis, and portfolio management, Loan Servicing.

* Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex credit situations and make informed decisions.

* Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.

* Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment.

* Proficient in using loan management software and MS Office Suite.
