Job Title: Installation Fitter

Location: Midlands UK

Salary: up to £30,000

Working hours: Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 17:00

Responsibilities and Duties of the Installation Fitter:

* Assemble, install, and repair warehouse racking systems, shelving, and storage solutions according to client specifications and safety standards.

* Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.

* Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.

* Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.

* Always maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

To succeed in this role as an Installation Fitter, you will need:

* Previous experience in racking installation, construction, or a similar field (preferred, but training can be provided).

* Proficiency with hand tools and basic mechanical skills.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.

* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.

* A commitment to health and safety practices.

* A valid driver's license (preferred but not essential dependent on location).

* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

* SIERS Diploma (preferred but not essential)

* CSCS

* Manual Handling (preferred but not essential)

* IPAF 3a (preferred but not essential)

* Counterbalance Forklift Truck (preferred but not essential)

* Reach Truck (preferred but not essential)
