Your new role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join the team as a GB System Developer. This role involves working on the GB System, which operates on an IBM i-Series platform. You will have strong programming skills, a solid understanding and practical experience with SQL, and proven capabilities in system analysis and design. Additionally, the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and end-users is essential, as you will be translating technical concepts into understandable terms.

What you'll need to succeed
Preferably will have, or must be willing to learn:

Knowledge of IBM i
Up-to-date RPG IV skills
DB2 for i SQL skills
Development tools: IBM RDi or Visual Studio Code with Code for IBM i extension
Microsoft Office, in particular Word
Knowledge of accounting systems (or at least an understanding of accounting basics)
Knowledge of Payroll (again an understanding of payroll basics)

Desirable:
Node-js or other open source languages
Open source tools
Experience of web design/development, HTML, JavaScript
Windows Server
Office 365
AWS
