Experienced Teaching Assistant - Long term role in Newport.

Academics are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming and vibrant school in Newport on a long term basis.

This exciting opportunity will be running from February until July and offers the right candidate with a fantastic chance to make a real, positive difference in young children's lives by facilitating a warm classroom setting.

About the Teaching Assistant role

Start Date - February 2025
End date - July 2025
Pay rate: £85 per day
Location - Newport
Hours: Full time, term-time only.Key Responsibilities Of A Teaching Assistant Include:

Supporting the classroom teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of learning materials.
Supporting small groups of students 1:1 with basic literacy, numeracy and reading skills.
Assistaing with general classroom duties.
Encouraging pupil engagement and monitoring/tracking their progress throughout the year.
